The Man Utd stat that PROVES David Moyes is BETTER than Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER’s reign as Manchester United manager started with a bang, but it’s safe to say the wheels are coming off at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer’s appointment as Jose Mourinho’s successor coincided with an eight-game winning streak for Manchester United.
However, United have struggled immensely since their winning start to life under the Norwegian came to an end.
The Red Devils have lost seven of their last ten games and look certain to miss out on a top-four finish.
And United’s recent run of poor has given Solskjaer an unwanted record.
The 46-year-old now has a WORSE record than former United boss David Moyes, who was sacked ten months into his reign at the Theatre of Dreams.
Following United’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Sunday, Solskjaer’s record after 27 matches in charge stands at 16 wins, three draws and eight defeats.
Moyes’ record after the same amount fixtures stood at 16 wins, six draws and five defeats.
Solskjaer will be hoping he doesn’t follow in the Scot’s footsteps and is ushered out the door before he can see out the remainder of his contract.

There’s no denying Solskjaer has a huge job on his hands to turn United back into title contenders.
His old team-mate Paul Scholes reckons a mass clear out is in order this summer and believes the club need to sign a new centre-back, right back and striker.
"I think it’s a confusing club and a confusing squad of players at the minute,” Scholes told Premier League Productions.
“I always think at Manchester United and at big clubs, you’re only as good as your centre forwards are and your attacking players.
“I’m not sure whether these attacking players are good enough.
“We talk about potential with [Anthony] Martial, [Marcus] Rashford, but you’re getting to a point now where it’s not potential, you have to start producing week in, week out."
United will next be in action on Sunday afternoon, traveling to the John Smith’s Stadium to take on the already-relegated Huddersfield.
