18:00 UPDATE: Wanted: Bruno Fernandes
Arsenal have joined Manchester United in the battle to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes.
Fernandes, 24, has registered 28 goals and provided 15 assists for the Portuguese challengers this campaign and has subsequently attracted interest from a number of European heavyweights.
United, Atletico Madrid, AC Milan, Juventus and Chelsea are among the interested parties,
But Portuguese newspaper O Jogo claim Arsenal are now in pursuit.
The report adds that Sporting Lisbon are under pressure to sell and will not enforce the £85million release clause in his contract because of loyalty shown following the attack on the Sporting training ground last year.
17:00 UPDATE: Another price-tag set…
Liverpool are prepared to sell unsettled midfielder Rafael Camacho this summer.
Camacho, 18, recently accused Jurgen Klopp and his backroom staff of being ‘mistaken’ about his best position having been deployed at right-back in each of his two first-team appearances for the Reds.
Portuguese publication Record claim plenty of European sides including Sporting Lisbon and Wolves are looking to sign Camacho, whose contract expires in June 2020.
And fellow Portuguese outlet A Bola say Liverpool will reluctantly do business at £8million instead of losing him for free next year.
16:30 UPDATE: Marko Grujic price-tag
Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic is attracting attention from Atletico Madrid.
That’s according to ESPN, who claim Liverpool value the Serbia international at a staggering £35million.
Grujic, 23, arrived at Anfield in 2016 from Red Star Belgrade but has made just 14 first-team appearances for Liverpool.
He’s since spent loan spells with Cardiff in the Championship and Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin, where he’s impressed scoring four goals and providing an assist.
16.00 UPDATE: Chelsea to make Hudson-Odoi offer
Chelsea are preparing to offer Callum Hudson-Odoi another new contract despite his season-ending injury as they battle to hang onto him.
Hudson-Odoi went off injured against Burnley last night with a ruptured Achilles and is out for the remainder of the campaign.
Chelsea though remain in a battle to hang onto him long-term with Bayern Munich trying to sign him in January and preparing to go again in the summer.
However the Telegraph report that Chelsea will offer the England international a new deal despite the injury as they look to convince him to stay beyond the summer.
13.55 UPDATE: Jack Butland price tag
Jack Butland has had a £30m price tag slapped on his head as Crystal Palace and Bournemouth line up bids for him, reports indicate.
Butland has spent this season playing in the Championship with Stoke having been relegated with the Potters last May.
England boss Gareth Southgate has, though, told him he needs to be plying his trade higher up the divisions if he is to stay in his plans.
The Telegraph claim Stoke will not let Butland go on the cheap, with Everton’s £30m signing of Jordan Pickford laying down a marker for future goalkeeper deals.
13.30 UPDATE: Man Utd hopes under threat
Manchester United have no chance of snaring Matthijs de Ligt if they fail to qualify for the Champions League, claims former Premier League striker Dave Kitson.
"[Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has] got to get to the Champions League because there’s going to be certain players… They need a centre half, De Ligt at Ajax for example, €100m (£86m)," Kitson said.
"They could have gone out and got him. If they don’t get into the Champions League, that’s an 18-year-old kid they can’t attract anymore.
"The Champions League is massive for them."
13.05 UPDATE: Cristiano Ronaldo wants signing
Cristiano Ronaldo could prevent Manchester United from signing one of their top targets in the form of Joao Felix.
Express Sport revealed earlier this month that United are desperate to snap up the much-talked-about Benfica sensation.
However, Portuguese outlet A Bola reckon Ronaldo is interested in linking up with his countryman at Juventus.
Juventus were initially reluctant to spend big on Felix, but it seems Ronaldo’s green light has changed their mind.
12.15 UPDATE: Real Madrid rejected
Kylian Mbappe has no interest in leaving Paris Saint-Germain for Real Madrid - despite Zinedine Zidane’s return.
"I’m staying at PSG. I'm fully involved in PSG's project," Mbappe said.
"I'm happy for Real Madrid that [Zidane] has come back. I'll watch their games as an admirer."
Mbappe has been targeted by Real as they plan to embark on an incredible summer spending spree.
11.25 UPDATE: Fulham star in demand
West Ham and Crystal Palace are both in the hunt for Aleksandar Mitrovic following Fulham’s relegation to the Championship.
Mitrovic is one of the few Fulham stars who have emerged with their reputation intact from a nightmare season.
And Express Sport understands both Manuel Pellegrini and Roy Hodgson are interested in getting the Serbian on board.
West Ham are facing the prospect of potentially losing Marko Arnautovic, while Palace loanee Michy Batshuayi will head back to Chelsea in the summer.
10.55 UPDATE: Man Utd want Chelsea youngster
Manchester United are tracking young Chelsea defender Reece James.
The right-back has been on loan at Championship side Wigan this season and could be a potential replacement for Antonio Valencia.
James’ sister Lauren already plays for United and helped then win the Women's Championship title this year.
The Daily Mail claim the full-back, who has played 43 times for Wigan this campaign and was named in the Championship Team of the Year, is valued at £15m.
10.30 UPDATE: Man Utd stars want out
Manchester United have a number of players on their books who can’t wait to quit Old Trafford, claims pundit Jermaine Jenas.
"I think he’s got a mixture of players that have got their eye on leaving Manchester United and a mixture of players that are not good enough to play for Manchester United," Jenas said.
"That is the problem. In his eleven today, I saw too many of those [players].
"The players that are actually putting in the effort are the players for me that feel grateful to be at Manchester United."
10.00 UPDATE: Philippe Coutinho transfer hint
Philippe Coutinho has dropped a big hint he wants Paris Saint-Germain to be his next club if he leaves Barcelona.
"It's always a pleasure to play with him, he’s a crack," Coutinho said.
"We played a lot of time in Brazilian youth teams, [Neymar] became a special player.
"Playing at his side is always a pleasure, even though I haven't had any luck at the club level yet.
"It would be nice to play with him in a club."
09.35 UPDATE: Failed Liverpool transfer fury
Nabil Fekir has split with his agent for failing to resurrect a move to Liverpool last summer.
Fekir was all set to join Liverpool in June before jetting off to the World Cup with France.
However, a medical flagged up a potential knee problem and the deal was scrapped.
The Lyon playmaker has now parted ways with agent Jean-Pierre Bernes because the switch was not brought back to life.
09.20 UPDATE: Man City transfer plan
Manchester City are thinking about spending more on Rodri than the whopping £60m they paid for Riyad Mahrez last summer.
That is according to The Telegraph, who say Rodri has been identified as the player to replace veteran midfielder Fernandinho.
City have spent big over the past few years but are yet to trouble the likes of Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain in the world-record stakes.
However, they are prepared to smash what they forked out for Mahrez in order to snap up Rodri from Atletico Madrid.
09.00 UPDATE: Juventus plot Man Utd raid
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is one of two players Juventus are reportedly desperate to snare.
Pogba enjoyed a revival when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho but has gone off the boil of late.
Real Madrid have been credited with interest in him, though, as they look to bolster their ageing midfield.
Tuttosport now say Juventus want Pogba back and are targeting him along with Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa.
Man Utd: Rashford ‘ONLY’ big player worth keeping says Osman
08.45 UPDATE: Real Rangers price tag
Rangers may have to pay as much as £355,000 for Jake Hastie despite planning to sign him when his contract expires.
Express Sport understands the attacking midfielder is poised to swap Fir Park for Motherwell at the end of the season.
And he is set to put pen to paper on his Rangers deal before this week draws to a close, with a four-year contract on offer.
However, FIFA rules state Rangers will have to pay up to £355,000 in compensation to Hastie’s current club, Motherwell.
08.25 UPDATE: Chelsea targets
Chelsea want Nicolas Pepe or Philippe Coutinho to fill the shoes of Eden Hazard if the winger joins Real Madrid, it has been reported.
Hazard has made no secret of his desire to one day pull on the famous white shirt of Real, who are managed by his idol Zinedine Zidane.
Chelsea are facing having to cash on him this summer because his contract expires in 2020 and he has opted against signing a new one.
Telefoot reckon the Blues will move for Lille’s Pepe or Barcelona’s Coutinho should Hazard jump ship when the transfer window opens.
07.55 UPDATE: Arsenal blow
Real Madrid do not see Arsenal as a realistic destination for Gareth Bale, reports in the Spanish capital have claimed.
Bale could be on his way out of the Bernabeu in the summer with Florentino Perez planning to overhaul Real’s underperforming squad.
A Premier League return has always seemed the most likely outcome for Bale should he bring an end to his time in Madrid.
However, Marca claim Real will not be offering the Wales international to Arsenal because they don’t think the Gunners can afford his wages.
07.25 UPDATE: £40m Tottenham scrap
Tottenham will be forced to battle it out with Juventus this summer if they want to prise rising star Ryan Sessegnon away from Fulham.
The left-sided bright spark is poised to quit Craven Cottage following Fulham’s disastrous season and relegation to the Championship.
The west Londoners are, however, unwilling to sell Sessegnon on the cheap and have slapped a price tag of about £40m on him.
Tottenham have been keeping tabs on Sessegnon for a while and are in pole position to snap him up, but Juventus will ensure they don’t have it all their own way.
06.55 UPDATE: Man Utd decision
Manchester United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and the club’s Glazer Family owners want the Red Devils to copy one of their rivals.
United have endured a largely dismal six years since legendary former manager Sir Alex Ferguson decided to call it a day.
And a key part of that has been down to abysmal recruitment which has seen them fall well off the pace set by the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool.
ESPN are reporting United are big admirers of the way Liverpool have rebuilt, though, and will copy their strategy when it comes to transfers and backing boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
