SCOTT McTOMINAY scored his first goal for Manchester United against Wolves tonight - and made sure he celebrated the moment in style!
McTominay rifled home a low drive early in the first half to send the visitors 1-0 up.
Manchester United are gunning for a top-four finish this season and could well secure their Champions League spot before the campaign is out.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer named a much-changed XI at Molineux tonight.
And McTominay repaid the faith shown in him by his manager by scoring from the edge of the Wolves box.
Solskjaer celebrated with delight when the ball hit the net.
But it was McTominay himself who was in raptures as he reeled off the celebrate his strike.
Former Everton player Pat Nevin was watching the game for BBC 5 Live.
And the Scot was gushing over McTominay’s effort.
“Fabulous strike by McTominay,” he said.
“Lingard's movement down the left, he chased the ball down the left, McTominay was 22 yards out and only had one thought in his head, to shoot low in the corner.”
United eventually lost the game 2-1 after a Chris Smalling own goal gifted the hosts all three points.
