Real Madrid team news vs Huesca: Predicted line up – Four key men out, injured duo return
REAL MADRID manager Zinedine Zidane has left out a number of key players from his squad to face Huesca tonight (7.45pm).
Several first-team stars have been left out of the matchday squad for Real Madrid’s return to La Liga action against Huesca.
Raphael Varane, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Marco Asensio have all found themselves left out of the team to take on the Spanish minnows tonight.
Meanwhile, Thibaut Courtois, Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior are all injured so Zidane has limited options to select from.
However, Sergio Ramos should be available to start at centre-back while Marcos Llorente and Lucas Vazquez have both regained full fitness and are included in the squad.
Regardless of Courtois' injury, Keylor Navas appears to be first-choice in goal while Alvaro Odriozola is set to continue at right-back.
Nacho will replace Varane and Marcelo looks to have established himself at left-back under Zidane once more.
Isco should be joined by Dani Ceballos in central midfield while Casemiro is likely to sit in front of the back four and offer some much-needed protection.
In attack, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema are expected to start as Real look to continue an impressive run of form which has seen them win eight of their last 10 matches.
Zidane’s son Luca and Diego Altube Suarez have been called up from Real Madrid’s B and U19 teams respectively to provide goalkeeper cover.
Meanwhile Jesus Vallejo, Sergio Reguilon, Federico Valverde and Brahim Diaz are also in the matchday squad as Zidane rotates.
Huesca are currently rock-bottom of La Liga with just five wins from 28 matches.
They are currently seven points from safety and have failed to win 12 of their last 13 away matches, so the omens do not look good for Francisco’s side.
