Ian Wright predicts EVERY Liverpool and Man City game… this is who wins Premier League
IAN WRIGHT has made his predictions for every Premier League game Liverpool and Manchester City have remaining for the rest of the season.
Premier League: Ian Wright predicts remaining match outcomes
Liverpool are currently top of the Premier League table, two points clear of second-placed Manchester City.
However, City do have a game in hand on their title rivals, meaning they have 24 points to play for compared to the Reds’ 21.
On Premier League Today, Wright was asked to predict the result of every match for both sides but without knowing what that meant for the destination of the title.
The Arsenal legend can only see Liverpool dropping two more points, with a 2-2 draw at home to Tottenham this coming Saturday.
One point, they’ve done it by one point!
However, he reckons City will draw both at home to Spurs and away at local rivals Manchester United in April.
Wright’s predictions sees Liverpool end their 29-year wait for a top-flight title, beating City by just one point.
And when he was shown the outcome, he was delighted.
“One point, they’ve done it by one point!” Wright said of Liverpool.
“Well that’s what I’m hoping [that it goes down to the last day].
“I’m really pleased with that because I genuinely believe Tottenham will draw against both of them.
“And I think the Manchester derby at that stage of the season is going to be so intense.
“I can see maybe a draw for Manchester City there as well at United.
“Even just seeing with the champions mark makes me really excited.
“You know my predictions are not a million miles away, I get a lot of correspondence saying ‘you were right, you were right’.
“I hope I’m right, but I can’t see Man City losing too many, I just can’t see them losing too many.
“This is the pressure that both of them are under right now, with massive games in and around it.”
