Liverpool Premier League title hopes rest on ONE player - Robbie Mustoe
LIVERPOOL star Mohamed Salah must start scoring or the Reds will NOT win the Premier League title this season.
That is according to NBC Sports pundit and former Middlesbrough midfielder Robbie Mustoe.
Salah is Liverpool’s joint top scorer this season in all competitions with 20 goals.
However, the Egypt star has failed to find the back of the net in his last seven matches.
He was wasteful in front of goal in the 2-1 win over Fulham on Sunday that sent the Reds back to the top of the Premier League.
He’s got to start scoring goals or they’re going to struggle to win this title
But Mustoe says Liverpool need Salah to rediscover his goalscoring touch if they want to end their 29-year wait for the title.
“They need him to start scoring,” Mustoe said.
“You saw it with his body language, he dropped his shoulders. His head kind of dropped and stuff, you saw it when he came off.
“He’s got to start scoring goals or they’re going to struggle to win this title.

“They’re going to need his goals at some point.”
Mustoe admits he expected an easier afternoon for Liverpool at Fulham, despite their midweek exploits in the Champions League.
“After a big European night, this often happens with a Premier League side,” he continued.
“I expected Fulham to be a bit more of a walkover than that.
“I said Liverpool should still win but won’t be at their best.
“They did [win] but that was tighter than I expected. So I was a little bit surprised.
“And it took by the way a Sergio Rico bad error for the Fulham goalkeeper to enable that penalty and that victory.”
“Well done Sadio Mane that forced the penalty kick, but it was a mistake from the goalkeeper.
“So they kind of got away with that one.”
