Eden Hazard 'had his chance' with Real Madrid says Moreno
Hazard has been repeatedly been linked with a move to Real Madrid from Chelsea.
The Belgian has failed to hide his desire to one day play for the La Liga giants and see his current Stamford Bridge contract expire in the summer of 2020.
But Moreno believes the 28-year-old has left it too late to join Real.
Moreno was asked who he would attempt to sign in the close season if he was Real boss Zinedine Zidane.
If I’m Real Madrid I want to attract attention, I want to attract marketing, I want to cover that Ronaldo hole. Who better than Kylian Mbappe?

And the former Venezuela international reckons Paris Saint-Germain sensation Kylian Mbappe would be a much better option than Eden Hazard.
“If I’m in his head, the first thing I’d do is reconsider the pants I was wearing for the press conference yesterday,” Moreno said.
“Eden Hazard, he had his chance, I don’t think so.
“It didn’t quite work out, he didn’t push hard enough, he’s stayed at Chelsea. No.

“And the reason I can say no to Eden Hazard is because I’ve got this [Mbappe].
“I have Kylian Mbappe, who would be priority one for me if I was Zinedine Zidane.
“If I’m Real Madrid I want to attract attention, I want to attract marketing, I want to cover that [Cristiano] Ronaldo hole.
“Who better than Kylian Mbappe? For the next 10 years.”
Moreno cannot see Zidane attempting to sign Mbappe’s team-mate Neymar.
