Napoli vs Juventus: Cristiano Ronaldo and co open up 16 point gap with dramatic win
JUVENTUS opened up a 16-point gap at the top of Serie A as Cristiano Ronaldo returned to the side.
Ronaldo returned to help Juve, but didn’t get himself on the score sheet in Naples.
He was involved in the first goal when he was cleaned up by Napoli goalkeeper Alex Meret, who received his marching orders.
And Miralam Pjanic stepped up to score from the free kick after 28 minutes.
Former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can doubled the lead before half time but Jose Callejon pulled one back on the hour mark.
Pjanic was then sent off at the start of the second half and Juve were forced to hang on.
Lorenzo Insigne missed a penalty but Juventus managed to hold out to open up a huge lead at the top of the table.
