I think they will see a point as a good result in the Merseyside derby
Gary Neville
Everton have not beaten Liverpool at home in the league for nine years, but Marco Silva’s men are coming off the back of a rampant 3-0 rout in Cardiff.
It was against Liverpool in December that their season lost momentum, conceding the game’s only goal in the 96th minute after a Jordan Pickford mistake left the goal gaping for Divock Origi.
The Toffees will be determined to stop their arch rivals from claiming their first title in 29 years, however.
City can go two points ahead of Liverpool if they beat Bournemouth on Saturday, meaning only a win at Goodison Park would restore the Anfield side’s lead.

But Neville, who had a vociferous relationship with Liverpool as a player, reckons the league leaders will be content with one point.
“There are various factors that will decide who wins the Premier League this season,” he told Sky Sports.
“But it is looking like it's just down to Liverpool and Manchester City now.
“The big things that could decide it are experience in the squad, and Man City's previous experience of winning a Premier League title will also stand them in good stead.
