Man Utd have dropped four clues they will appoint Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - Paul Merson
MANCHESTER UNITED have dropped big clues in recent weeks they are ready to appoint Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the club’s permanent manager.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should get Man United job says Sharpe
That is the verdict of Sky Sports pundit and former Arsenal star Paul Merson.
Manchester United have won 11 of the 13 matches since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer became interim boss in December.

The Norwegian’s deal at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season but he is the overwhelming favourite to get the job full time.
And Merson reckons recent contract renewals of four players suggest the board are backing Solskjaer.
They wouldn’t be signing all these players left, right and centre on long contracts if he hasn’t got a chance of getting the job
Anthony Martial, Ashley Young, Phil Jones and Scott McTominay have all signed extensions to their United deals since the turn of the year.
“I think he’s got every chance [of getting the job],” Merson said on The Debate.
“They wouldn’t be signing all these players left, right and centre on long contracts if he hasn’t got a chance of getting the job.
“Because if another manager comes in and goes ‘I’ve never fancied him and I’ve never fancied him’, what are they doing?
Solskjaer has changed 'whole mentality of United' says Neville
“That was the problem with Martial. All of a sudden Martial has signed.
“If he signs and all of a sudden somebody else comes in and goes ‘I don’t like him’ or Martial goes ‘I don’t like him’.”
Manchester United bounced back from the Champions League to PSG last week by knocking Chelsea out of the FA Cup on Monday with a 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge.
And Merson believes a win over rivals Liverpool in the Premier League this Sunday will secure Solskjaer the job.
“I was always waiting for them to lose a football match,” he continued.
“But to bounce back like they did, I see them going into this game on Sunday with every chance of beating Liverpool, with every chance.
“I think if Liverpool come away from something at Old Trafford, that’s a good result.
“That tells me that he is doing something very, very right there at that club at the moment.
“If they beat Liverpool on Sunday I’d be shocked if he didn’t get it then.”
