Tottenham transfer news: Harry Kane QUIT order, Poch urged to sign Roma ace, star opens up
TOTTENHAM TRANSFER NEWS - Express Sport brings you the latest transfer news on the north Londoners.
Tottenham Transfer News - Harry Kane urged to leave Spurs
Harry Kane should leave Tottenham as soon as possible if he wants to win trophies, according to former Manchester United hitman Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
“When I was in England, I saw him play,” he told Bethard. “I think he is a good striker. He's still developing, he's doing good things.
“But I always say, playing in a big club, performing good is different from playing in... with all respect to Tottenham, a 'normal' club.
“I think he can make it. He just needs to make the move, and people will remember you for what you win. So if he wants to win, then yes, I think he needs to change.”
Tottenham Transfer News - Mauricio Pochettino told to sign Edin Dzeko
Former Spurs midfielder Micky Hazard believes Mauricio Pochettino should make a move for Edin Dzeko this month instead of signing Andy Carroll to alleviate his side’s injury crisis up front.
“I'd like to see Edin Dzeko come in,” Hazard said during an appearance on Love Sport Radio. “I think he's a top player and I don't think he's in the team at the moment [at Roma].
He just needs to make the move, and people will remember you for what you win
“Thankfully it's not my decision but if I was manager of Spurs I wouldn't be looking to Andy Carroll.
“I don't think he'd fit into our way of playing. He might do us a job during this period when we've got an absolutely incredible injury list and Son away which compounds it.
“But I am a bit of a purist and I have a style of play that I like to see and I think Dzeko would fit in better than Andy Carroll.”
Tottenham Transfer News - Eric Dier speaks out on lack of signings
Eric Dier has insisted neither he nor any of his Tottenham team-mates are disappointed with the club’s decision not to bring in reinforcements last summer.
“If that is what the manager said then I agree with him 100 per cent,” Dier said after Tottenham’s last-gasp victory over Fulham on Sunday. “He is the boss and I am sure we can find solutions within the squad, like we have done in the past.
We have injuries but every team has injuries and we have to deal with it. We are not sulking about it and feeling sorry for ourselves. We have just got to get on with it.
“We are upset that Harry is injured, like we are upset when any player gets injured, but we have to get on with it. It is down to the team and the squad to rally and carry on.”
