Liverpool star Mo Salah is FRUSTRATED and here is the proof - Robbie Fowler
ROBBIE FOWLER reckons he spotted Mo Salah looking frustrated early in Liverpool's clash with Brighton.
The Egyptian star, the joint top scorer in the Premier League with 14, unsurprisingly started when Liverpool hosted Crystal Palace.
But Palace put men behind the ball early and Fowler was watching Salah's reaction closely.
At one point, the Kop star dropped so deep he came to pick the ball up off the centre-backs.
"The game has started, there's 10 minutes gone and Salah looks frustrated already," Fowler said.
"Because Palace are sitting so deep, Salah isn't getting much of the ball.
"In an instance there he just picked the ball up off one of the centre-halves.
"It could be a potentially long afternoon for Liverpool."
Salah won a penalty - then converted it - as Liverpool beat Brighton last weekend.
Chris Hughton admitted it was a spot-kick and that Pascal Gross had fouled the frontman but fans on social media were split.
Some have hit out at Salah for diving but Jordan Henderson has warned oppositions fans that they will only inspire Salah to greater heights.
"It was a definite penalty," said Henderson.
"There's nothing to discuss about that. In terms of Mo, I would think away grounds would be appreciative of what they see. I'm sure he is a joy to watch."
Asked if there was an attempt to pressurise Salah, Henderson said: "If they do that, they will make him better. It won't bother him. That's the mentality he's got. He's so strong.
"He will do things that some fans might not see that often but they should enjoy him because he is world class. It was a clear penalty."
