Cristiano Ronaldo quit Real Madrid after nine glittering years back in the summer, choosing to pursue one final challenge in Italy with Juventus.
The Portugal international had decided he needed a fresh challenge having steered Los Blancos to three Champions League titles in as many years.
Ronaldo has been in sensational form for Juventus over in Serie A, scoring 14 league goals to propel them to the top of the table.
And the Daily Mail have explored how the 33-year-old has been airbrushed from Real Madrid’s history books.
While Ronaldo left on good terms, more details on his time at Los Blancos have come to light.
Ronaldo himself has cited a breakdown in his relationship with Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez as one of the reasons for his exit.
That Juventus made it known how special he would be, too, also played a role.
Real have tried to downplay Ronaldo’s achievements in recent times, barely mentioning his exploits for them saw him make UEFA’s team of 2018.
They have also opted to go with Alfredo Di Stefano and Zinedine Zidane as the two figureheads for their ‘legends’ page on the website.
And the Daily Mail say a Ronaldo insider has claimed it is nothing unusual to the Portugal star.
It is claimed he believes it to be nothing personal as it happens to all players when they leave Real.
In his eyes, they always move on.
Even club legends Iker Casillas and Raul were not afforded the dream departures they wanted.
And, while Ronaldo continues to strut his stuff for Juventus, Real’s cooling off may continue.

And AC Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso has lauded the forward, saying: "I think Cristiano has become an incredible player over the last seven or eight years.
"When I met him a few years ago he was doing a lot of show but now he stopped doing it a while ago. Now, he does everything with vehemence, attacking with depth.
"He wants to score and wants to give you hard times and put the ball into the net.
"He has changed in the last seven or eight years, now he is the perfect machine. The older he gets the more he sprints.
"He seems a bloke without age, here you understand what kind of top player he has been over the last eight years."
