Denis Suarez setback
It’s no secret that Unai Emery is keen on a reunion with Denis Suarez.
Having coached the Spaniard at Sevilla, the Barcelona man is seen as a player who could help improve the current Gunners squad.
With funds limited, Arsenal want to sign Suarez on loan but reports suggest Ernesto Valverde is only willing to let him leave on a permanent basis.
According to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, the Catalans will only allow Suarez to join on loan if Arsenal include an obligation to buy.
Valverde insists Suarez still has value at the club and that an exit is not necessarily on the cards.
"Denis can play for us in any match and he is always available," he told Diario Sport.
"The reality is he was with our squad when we went to Getafe on Sunday and he is always competing to be in the squad, so yes he does have a future.
"This is a period of the season when fixtures come thick and fast and we will need to make rotations, I am aware of this and so are the players. Every game now we believe there will be a few changes, between league fixtures and those in the Copa all players available have a chance."
Yannick Carrasco talks
According to FootMercato, Arsenal have made contact with Yannick Carrasco.
The winger is currently playing in the Chinese Super League with Dalian Yifang.
The Gunners are keen on adding a wide player to their squad and are now targeting the former Atletico Madrid man, who is unsettled in the Far East.
He currently earns £170,000 per-week and will have to take a pay cut to secure a move to north London.
Hector Herrera swoop
Arsenal are preparing to sign Hector Herrera from Porto on a free transfer according to Tuttomercato.
The midfielder is set to leave the Portuguese champions on a free transfer when his contract expires.
They face competition from Atletico Madrid, Roma and Wolves for the Mexican.
Herrera has previously been a target for Manchester United and Napoli and would add a wealth of experience to Emery’s squad.
Ramsey agrees Juventus deal
Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey will join Juventus in the summer, according to reports.
But, according to The Guardian, he has now agreed terms with the Old Lady.
It’s suggested Ramsey has agreed a five-year deal at the Serie A champions worth around £140,000 a week.
