Liverpool news: Mohamed Salah doubt revealed by pundit after Newcastle win
MOHAMED SALAH was so good for Liverpool against Newcastle that he probably didn’t need his kit washing after the game.
That is the bold claim of BBC Sport pundit Garth Crooks.
Salah produced a mesmerising display in the 4-0 win over Newcastle on Boxing Day.
The Egyptian hitman netted from the penalty spot and was involved in every good attack that the Reds had.
While there were concerns that he went down too easily under the challenge of Paul Dummett, Salah was exceptional otherwise.

And Crooks highly doubts whether the kitman had to put Salah’s shirt in the washing machine such was his immaculate performance.
“This was a stroll in the park for Liverpool,” Crooks said analysing the Reds’ win over the Magpies.
“Newcastle were out of their depth from the moment the game started.
“In fact, I doubt whether Salah's kit required washing after this game.

“Newcastle should also have known better than to place hands on Salah in the penalty area, especially at Anfield.
“Such incidents only result in spot-kicks and Salah normally obliges.”
Salah has now been involved in 36 goals in 28 home games for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
At the other end of the pitch, the Anfield have been more resolute, conceding just seven times in 19 league games.

The Reds are currently six points clear at the top of the table.
Their lead could be cut to three for a few hours with title rivals Tottenham at home to Wolves on Saturday (3pm).
Klopp’s men welcome Arsenal - who drew 1-1 on their last outing away to Brighton on Boxing Day - later on Saturday (5.30pm).
