Transfer news: Sancho, Mbappe and Liverpool trio enjoy biggest value rises – Top 20 ranked
JADON SANCHO and Kylian Mbappe are among the European stars who have enjoyed the biggest transfer value rises since September, but who else makes the top 20?
England wonderkid Jadon Sancho has seen his transfer value soar since joining Borussia Dortmund for just £8million last year.
The 18-year-old has set the Bundesliga on fire with his displays at the Signal Iduna Park, scoring six goals and providing nine assists for the German giants this season.
Sancho even bagged a first international call-up on the back of his performances, and now a new study has estimated the youngster’s price tag has gone up by £70million in just three months.
CIES Football Observatory have calculated the transfer value increases of every player in the top five European leagues since September based on fees, contract status, age, financial strength of the club and on-field performances.
Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe features among the biggest risers with his price tag having been boosted by over £20m, while team-mates Angel Di Maria and Thilo Kehrer make the top 20.
Liverpool’s blistering start to the season has also been rewarded with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Sadio Mane and Andrew Robertson all dramatically increasing in value.
Manchester City stars Bernardo Silva and Aymeric Laporte have also been bolstered while Everton’s £50m summer signing Richarlison is now worth nearer £70m.
Other Premier League stars who have caught the eye include Ben Chilwell and Callum Wilson while Luke Shaw’s new contract at Manchester United has heavily increased his market value.
