Tottenham player ratings vs Leicester: Son Heung-Min scores, Dele Alli SHINES without Kane
TOTTENHAM sailed to victory against Leicester – who impressed most?
Tottenham enjoyed a comfortable night in Leicester as they walked away from the King Power Stadium with a 2-0 victory.
Dele Alli was at the centre of everything as Spurs controlled proceedings with a confident display,
The England international scored the second goal of the evening to secure the points after Son Heung-Min blasted the visitors into the lead.
Take a look below to reveal our Tottenham player ratings against Leicester.
Hugo Lloris – 7
Made a couple of strong saves, but he wasn't troubled as often as Claude Puel would've liked.
Serge Aurier – 6
Left the field injured. He didn't make any critical errors, but he lacks the extra quality Spurs need at full-back.
Toby Alderweireld – 7
Confident, strong, assured. Rock-solid, and never looked troubled.
Jan Vertonghen – 7
Similar to Alderweireld, Vertonghen was excellent. It's no surprise the reunited pair claimed a clean sheet.
Ben Davies – 6
Dragged around by Leicester's pacey stars. May be forced back to the bench with Danny Rose fit again.
Eric Dier – 7
Had a physical edge over the Foxes. Brought steel and calm to the midfield.
Harry Winks – 7
So composed on the ball. Winks' job is to play relatively simple football, but he does it incredibly well.
Moussa Sissoko – 6
A recent burst of form didn't quite continue at full steam tonight. He lacked a killer ball on a couple of occasions.
Dele Alli – 9
The heart of everything great about Spurs tonight. He used his height and strength very effectively, and was rewarded with a top goal.
Son Heung-Min – 8
A goal and assist for Son wrapped up the game for Spurs. He was a handful all evening.
Lucas Moura – 7
Busy and energetic. Always useful in attack.
