Mauro Icardi: Wanda Nara ORDERS radio station to issue Real Madrid and Napoli message
MAURO ICARDI’S wife and agent - Wanda Nara - has ordered an Italian radio station to release a statement on the player’s future.
Nara handles all of Icardi’s business and has been an outspoken advocate of her husband.
Icardi is wanted at Real Madrid but the Inter captain appears settled in Milan.
Speculation over Icardi’s future is as rife in Italy as interest in Nara.
Icardi was said to have held talks over a move away from Inter with a representative other than his wife.
It was Nara herself who asked us to say it
And the agent sent a message to Radio Marte (picked up by arenanapoli) this week to clarify Icardi’s transfer status.
Ahead of Inter’s clash with Juventus tonight, the statement read: “There is an aspect to be clarified about alleged rumours circulated these days on Mauro Icardi.
“The wife of the captain of Inter, Wanda Nara, is the 'sole representative of the player’.
"When there were negotiations with Real Madrid and Naples, they called Wanda Nara and only her.
“And she only calls those who want information about the attacker.
“We refer to this because it was Nara herself who asked us to say it.”
Nara is expected to be in the stands for Inter’s trip to Turin tonight as manager Luciano Spalletti seeks to close the gap on the Serie A giants at the top f the table.
Inter are third in the Italian top flight - 11 points behind the rampant Juve.
Cristiano Ronaldo has helped inspire Juve’s unbeaten start to the season which has them in full control of the title race.
Ronaldo is the joint-top scorer in Serie A this season with 10 goals from 14 games.
Icardi boasts eight goals but has played far fewer minutes than the Portugal superstar.
Last month Nara also outlined that Icardi has no ambitions to win the Ballon d’Or - and if he had, he would have quit Inter.

“The Ballon d’Or? Mauro does not think about it in the slightest.
“He plays in the team in which he wants to play, think game by game.
"If he had thought about the Ballon d’Or, he would have liked to change teams.”
