Man Utd news: David Moyes makes sack claim as pressure mounts on Jose Mourinho
DAVID MOYES says Manchester United sacked him too soon and thinks Jose Mourinho’s current troubles are evidence to back that up.

Moyes was sacked just 10 months into his tenure after succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford in 2013.
Since Ferguson retired United have been in a state of flux and have barely mounted a serious challenge for the Premier League title in that period.
And Moyes believes they have still not recovered from Ferguson’s exit because of a lack of stability at the club.
“Do I feel I should have been given more time? Of course I do,” he said.
“To go to a club like Manchester United and follow someone like Sir Alex after the time he had been there, to stay for 10 months.
“It couldn't be a revolution at Manchester United, it had to be evolution. It had to take time.
“I wasn't going to come in and change all the things Alex had done, but there were lots of things that had to be changed at the club.”
Moyes was replaced by Louis van Gaal who had an equally difficult time at Old Trafford.
Despite leading to them to glory in the FA Cup in 2016, the Dutchman was sacked almost immediately after that win and Mourinho was brought in to take over.
Mourinho won the Europa League and League Cup in his first season but has led United to their worst start to a league campaign since 1990/91.
And Moyes thinks Mourinho - like himself - is a victim of the club’s failure to stabilise in the post-Ferguson era.
“You look at the way Chelsea and Man City had been doing things and changing things along the way – Manchester United had been winning because they had a special manager and a special group of players,” the Scot added.
“But when that all changed, it was going to take time to find its way. I still think they're having difficult times at the moment.”
Mourinho could be the next victim of United’s new haphazard approach.
The Portuguese has been under fire all season and was on the brink of the sack before a stoppage time Alexis Sanchez goal secured a 3-2 comeback win against Newcastle at Old Trafford last month.
Pressure has started to mount once more after the disappointing 0-0 home draw with Crystal Palace.
However, club legend Ryan Giggs - who replaced Moyes as interim manager at Old Trafford briefly - believes he should be given more time turn things around.
"Everyone knows what a successful manager he's been over the years,” he said.
"I believe that bit of stability we've not had over the years - we need to stick with him.
"But results also need to change. I think we've got the manager, the players to do that."
