Man Utd transfer news: Old Trafford chiefs book Eric Bailly meeting amid transfer links
ERIC BAILLY is set for crunch talks with the Manchester United board over his future, reports claim.
Eric Bailly backed to LEAVE Man United by Moreno
Bailly has been marginalised by Jose Mourinho and has failed to start a game for Manchester United since he was substituted after less than 20 minutes of the 3-2 victory over Newcastle last month.
The Ivory Coast centre-back has found himself behind the likes of Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof, with the latter resurrecting his United career despite initially failing to impress Mourinho.
And now The Sun on Sunday claim United will hold a meeting with Bailly this week to discuss his future.
Tottenham are thought to be admirers with Mauricio Pochettino previously working with the player at Espanyol, while Arsenal are also tracking his signature.
Earlier this month, reports suggested AC Milan are weighing up a move for the 24-year-old.
ESPN pundit Alejandro Moreno suggested Bailly should leave United regardless of whether or not Mourinho stays.
“Regardless of whether Jose [Mourinho] is there or not, it feels like it’s best for him to go elsewhere.
“It’s an open-ended question, to leave United? It’s a hit.”

Meanwhile, Ashley Young could stay at United come the end of the season.
The 33-year-old is out of contract next summer.
However, talks have been ongoing over adding another 12 months to stay.
And The Sun on Sunday claim that the England full-back may have to take a pay cut to extend his stay in the north west.
Young, who joined United from Aston Villa in a £17million deal in the summer of 2011, currently takes home around £130,000 a week.
United return to Premier League action at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday (3pm).
