One Twitter user said: “Still waiting for the Everton Brazilian superstar piece, maybe I blinked and missed it?”
Another user added: “Has it been on or is it just not coming on.” While a fellow upset Toffee said: "Didn’t hear much about Everton’s Brazilian superstar. But we did hear about how Liverpool fans should relax, and title will be in the bag. Absolute joke @skysportspl."
Everton news: Fans slammed Jamie Carragher
The stick kept on coming with another fan writing: "must have forgotten the everton bit eh".
"Is Bellew Brazilian, he’s the only Everton mention I heard?" jibed a fellow fan.
Carragher, a boyhood Everton support, issued an apology later and blamed the oversight on a timing issue.
He said: "Apologies! Producer said we didn’t have time & we can do it when EFC are on MNF in December!"
Richarlison was in devastating form for the Merseyside outfit on Saturday.
The former Watford man bagged a brace as Everton cruised to a 3-1 win over Brighton.
Speaking after the clash, Everton boss Marco Silva said: "Richarlison is a fantastic football player and he gives everything for us.”
“He fights and enjoys the game. But it is not just him. For us to play well and score goals we need to do big work."
Everton are now ninth in the Premier League with five wins this season and Silva added: "It was our best performance at home this season.
“First 30 minutes, we played really well.
“The only thing I didn't like was that corner when they scored. We worked for and prepared for - you need to react faster.
“What I liked was the second half.
“We kept doing what we did in the first half. We had chances to score more and it was a good and deserved win.
"For us it is important to do better than last season.
“We want to give the fans something to enjoy and feel a connection with what we are doing."
Everton face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The Blues eased past Crystal Palace 3-1 in their last fixture.
