Arsenal fans BLAST ‘prima donna’ Mesut Ozil after Crystal Palace strop: This isn’t good
SOME Arsenal supporters have taken aim at Mesut Ozil after he reacted badly to being substituted during their draw with Crystal Palace.
Captain Ozil was replaced by Danny Welbeck with 22 minutes remaining of Arsenal’s trip to Crystal Palace.
The Gunners were 2-1 up at the time and Ozil appeared to be very unhappy with Unai Emery’s decision to take him off.
Ozil was seen pushing past his manager before throwing his gloves to the ground as he took his place on the bench.
Emery later defended his player’s reaction.
“Every player wants to continue playing,” he said. “I like the players who show character.”
He added: “He was not happy because the result was not good at the end."
However, the Emirates faithful were less than impressed with what they saw.
“How much money is Mesut Ozil paid to be a prima donna, spoilt brat? What a clown and so is his manager for defending his stoppy strop strop,” one fan tweeted.
Another said: “@MesutOzil1088 Don't ever do that again. I understand you are frustrated, but you are the captain of The Arsenal. An honour.”
“I dont like the attitude of Captain @MesutOzil1088 that was Not a worthy response,” a third fan commented.
Meanwhile, another supporter suggested the playmaker should be punished for his reaction.

“@MesutOzil1088 should be fined for indiscipline,” they wrote.
With Ozil off the pitch for the remainder of the second half, Crystal Palace scored a late equaliser thanks to Luka Milivojevic’s second penalty of the afternoon.
The 2-2 draw ended Arsenal’s winning run but they continue on a 12 game unbeaten run in all competitions.
