FA Cup draw: Sunderland and co discover fate in first-round draw
FA CUP draw - Sunderland will face Port Vale in the first round of the competition, while Met Police will host Newport County.
Met Police, who play in the Southern League Premier Division South, will host Newport.
They beat Havant & Waterlooville 1-0 on Saturday to reach the first round for the first time in six years and will welcome Newport, who are fourth in Sky Bet Legaue Two.
Elsewhere, Sunderland go to Port Vale and Bromley host Peterborough.
The ties will be played November 9-12.
