Fantasy Premier League tips: In-form FPL players you need for GW9 – Hazard, Doherty, Kane
FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE form guides can be crucial in identifying who to sign and who to avoid – so which transfers will you target ahead of GW9?
The international break is finally drawing to a close and fans are once again turing their attention back to the Premier League.
That means it’s time for FPL managers to get busy in the transfer market and reshuffle their squads ahead of GW9 – and there are a host of in-form stars to sign.
Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard was on a scintillating run before the break, scoring seven goals in his previous six Premier League fixtures.
However, the Belgian wasn’t the only player catching the eye with the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Matt Doherty earning huge hauls in recent weeks – but who else is among the top 10 hottest FPL properties?
DEF: Kieran Tripper (Tottenham Hotspur – £6.3m) – 7.3 form
The absence of Christian Eriksen has seen Tripper’s threat increase with the full-back trusted on set-piece duty.
MID: Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal – £7.4m) – 7.3 form
Contract troubles were set aside when Ramsey stepped off the bench to help Arsenal cut loose against Fulham.
However, family reasons have ruled him out of the Wales squad and could make him doubtful for the weekend.
MID: Johann Berg Gudmundsson (Burnley – £6.0m) – 7.5 form
Gudmundsson has three goals and two assists in his last trio of games.
However, Burnley face Man City and Chelsea in their next two gameweeks.
FWD: Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur – £12.5m) – 7.7 form
The England striker drew a blank last time out against Cardiff but had three goals in two before that.
MID: Raheem Sterling (Manchester City – £11.1m) – 7.7 form
Sterling is winning the fight to become Pep Guardiola's main man aside from Sergio Aguero.
The 23-year-old has cast a shadow over record signing Riyad Mahrez and Leroy Sane so far this season.
FWD: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal – £10.7m) – 8.0 form
The Gunners' striking options are grinding into gear after a slow start.
Aubameyang has four goals in five games plus a couple of assists.
MID: Gylfi Sigurdsson (Everton – £7.4m) – 8.3 form
The Everton star has hit a fruitful run of form in the Premier League.
If he can maintain a steady flow of goals and assists, he could be the next go-to option.
FWD: Alexandre Lacazette (Arsenal – £9.6m) – 8.3 form
Lacazette has reacted well to Aubameyang's arrival in January and is thriving for the Gunners with four goals and as many assists in 2018/19.
MID: Eden Hazard (Chelsea – £11.3m) – 9.0 form
Hazard's four biggest gameweeks equal a combined 55 points, with the Belgian delivering massive totals on a consistent basis.
If you don't have him, you'll fall further behind.
DEF: Matt Doherty (Wolverhampton Wanderers – £4.7m) – 10.3 form
The right-back has added two assists and a goal to Wolves' remarkable run of four clean sheets in five matches.
