England staff mock Marcus Rashford over Jesse Lingard bromance… but fans are DEVASTATED
MANCHESTER UNITED ace Marcus Rashford has been hilariously mocked by England staff over his bromance with team-mate Jesse Lingard but fans were devastated the pair are not together.
Rashford mocked by England staff over 'missing' Lingard
Rashford was seen arriving at St George’s Park earlier this week ahead of England’s international fixtures against Croatia and Spain.
However, the Red Devils ace will be without his partner in crime Lingard during the international break.
The pair have formed a close bond in recent seasons at Old Trafford and on England duty.
However, injury to Lingard means the winger is not a part of the England camp this week.
And Rashford is pretty devastated by the prospect of a few days without his best buddy.
In footage posted by England’s Instagram account, the 20-year-old striker was seen being greeted by some of the team’s officials.
But the first thing he asks as he walks in is: “Where’s Jesse?”
“I could ask you the same question,” one of the staff replies.
Another asks: “Is he in your bag?” before the first jokingly bends down to Rashford’s bag and says: “We miss you Jesse.”
But many fans were quick to express their disappointment that the pair have been split up.
“Jarcus aren’t United we need bromance to be together,” one fan wrote.
Another said: “@marcusrashford needs his mate.”
“@marcusrashford knows how lonely he will be without @jesselingard,” a third fan wrote.
A fourth fan said: “Marcus without Jesse is like Spongebob without Patrick.”
