Cristiano Ronaldo signed for Juventus from Real Madrid this summer and was making his Champions League debut against La Liga victims Valencia tonight.
However, the 33-year-old has endured a torrid evening with the Portugal international receiving a straight red card following a collision with Jeison Murillo.
Ronaldo and the Valencia ace clashed in the box and, though it seemed innocouous, players of the La Liga side went racing over to the referee.
The Juventus star was then given a straight red - something that forced him into tears and sent many into a meltdown on social media.

Ronaldo is now primed to miss their next match against Swiss side Young Boys.
And he will also miss out on an emotional homecoming against former side Manchester United.
The Red Devils will host his current side on October 23.
And it appears that Ronaldo will be absent from that match following his sensational dismissal this evening.
