Chelsea news: Hazard reveals Real Madrid talks, Sarri makes Liverpool claim, Kante on PSG
CHELSEA news is coming thick and fast with the Blues currently relaxing after their 4-1 victory over Cardiff yesterday. Express Sport brings you all the latest with Eden Hazard, Real Madrid, Maurizio Sarri, Liverpool, N’Golo Kante and PSG all involved.
Hazard reveals Real Madrid talks
Chelsea star Eden Hazard was eager to join Real Madrid this summer - but the Belgium international has now revealed he held talks with the Blues over a potential transfer - only to stay put.
“I’m always happy when I play football," he said after yesterday's hat-trick against Cardiff.
“After the World Cup I spoke, now I’m still with Chelsea.
“I just try to give everything for this club. This club gave me a lot so when I’m on the pitch I try to do my best.”
Sarri makes Liverpool and Man City claim
Maurizio Sarri has steered Chelsea to five consecutive Premier League wins - but the Italian still thinks Liverpool and Manchester City are favourites for the title.
“We can improve,” he said after their 4-1 victory over Cardiff yesterday.
“At the moment, for me, Liverpool and Man City are better than us.
“Manchester City and Liverpool are another step up to us but I think we can improve.
"Our goal is to be the best team in England but it will take time.
"It could take more than a season but that is our target.
"We are not as solid as I want in the defensive phase.
"We knew they were dangerous from set-pieces and we were not ready to answer."

Kante on PSG
N’Golo Kante has confirmed contact from PSG over a potential transfer.
But in a massive boost for Chelsea, the France international has no intention of jumping ship.
“There was no urge to go elsewhere after the World Cup,” he told RMC Sport.
“There were other clubs interests, but after talking to Chelsea things were clear.
“The club is counting on me and I feel good. The next logical step was to continue to Chelsea.
“There were some contacts (from PSG). But after a discussion with Chelsea I realised that the main thing was to feel good where I was.
“I am at Chelsea. It’s good for me to stay.”
