Chelsea news: Blues star sends bold Ruben Loftus-Cheek message to Maurizio Sarri
CHELSEA star N’Golo Kante says Ruben Loftus-Cheek is ready to succeed at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea: Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s future explained by Sarri
Loftus-Cheek has been linked with a move away from Chelsea in recent months.
However, Maurizio Sarri decided not to loan out the England international in the summer, instead keeping him in west London.
Loftus-Cheek, 22, has made just two substitute appearances so far this season.
And Kante has hailed Loftus-Cheek - who spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace - claiming the midfielder is ready to play regularly at Chelsea.
He's played some good games and now it's the manager's decision
"When I came to Chelsea Ruben was already here and for sure he is a good player," he told Sky Sports.
"Now he's in the England squad. He did well last season at Crystal Palace and I think he's ready to play.
"He's played some good games and now it's the manager's decision.
"We all have the chance to be at Chelsea and to play with some of the best players in the league.
"We can all learn from that but he needs to keep working, to keep improving and I hope it will come at the right time."
Palace boss Roy Hodgson has opened up on Loftus-Cheek’s future, revealing he’d welcome the England star back to Selhurst Park.
He said: “If the question is should Ruben Loftus-Cheek be made available in January, would Crystal Palace be interested in loaning him again, then the answer is yes.
“I can’t answer ‘is that what you are looking at’, because how can I look at it?
“He is a Chelsea player, and I have got no idea if he is going to be available in January, so what can I look at?”
Chelsea have had a fine start to the season under Sarri.
The Blues boast a 100 per cent record after four games.
Chelsea are back in action tomorrow afternoon, with Sarri’s men hosting Cardiff at Stamford Bridge.
