Man United fans should be worried about Mourinho says Murphy
Manchester United stars have arrived for training ahead of their clash with Tottenham at Old Trafford this weekend to cap off a turbulent week for the club.
The Red Devils were beaten 3-2 by Brighton on Monday, sparking fresh reports of boardroom and dressing room discontent.
Jose Mourinho is at the eye of the storm following a summer of grumblings about the lack of transfer activity at the club.
The Portuguese boss was driven into training this morning and was quickly followed by Paul Pogba at the club's Carrington base.
Mourinho has attracted widespread criticism from fans and pundits alike in recent days, while super agent Mino Raiola has stirred the pot with controversial comments surrounding his star client Pogba.
United legend Paul Scholes criticised Pogba for his lack of leadership against Brighton to which Raiola responded with stinging tweets.
He posted: "Some people need to talk for fear of being forgotten. Paul Scholes wouldn’t recognize a leader if he was in front of Sir Winston Churchill.
"Paul Scholes should become sports director and advise Woodward to sell Pogba. Would be sleepless nights to find Pogba a new club."
It has all added up to a messy situation at United, and Mourinho will be desperate to calm the storm with a victory over Spurs this weekend.
The majority of his stars arrived promptly for the session at Carrington including Romelu Lukaku, Juan Mata and David De Gea.
Injured ace Nemanja Matic also made an appearance at the club's HQ though he is likely to remain sidelined on Monday after recovering from surgery on an abdominal injury.
