Chelsea: Ruben Loftus-Cheek denied brilliant goal by post
Chelsea continued their strong start to the new season by overcoming the Gunners at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Goals from Pedro, Alvaro Morata and Marcos Alonso meant Henrikh Mkkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi’s efforts counted for nought in the 3-2 home win.
Chelsea lined up with a midfield of N’Golo Kante, Jorginho and Ross Barkley, while Mateo Kovacic made an impressive cameo appearance from the bench.
Kovacic was the only midfield substitute Sarri had at his disposal against Arsenal and the summer loan signing had taken Loftus-Cheek’s place in his squad.

Loftus-Cheek is aiming to finally become a regular at Chelsea this season having previously found chances hard to come by.
And former Premier League striker Ian Wright claims the England international has the ability to make his mark.
"I would love to see Loftus-Cheek to see if he can break into the first XI," said Wright, when asked about his prospects.
"He’s got to try and play.

"This is the only situation where a player has not stayed at his parent club for the time he’s been there apart from the youth team.
"He’s too good to sit around.
"He’s now got to get Jorginho, Kante and Kovacic out of the way."
Chelsea return to Premier League action next Sunday when they travel to St. James’ Park to face Newcastle.
