Arsenal news: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang make Borussia Dortmund transfer revelation
ARSENAL star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang admits it was difficult to adapt to English football after his January move.
Arsenal: Aubameyang scores INCREDIBLE goal in training
The former Borussia Dortmund striker left the Bundesliga outfit midway through last season, softening the blow of Alexis Sanchez leaving Arsenal for Manchester United.
Despite his claims, Aubamayeng hit the ground running at the club, scoring 10 times in 13 Premier League games last term under Arsene Wenger.
The Gabon forward couldn't get off the mark against champions Manchester City last weekend as the Gunners were downed 2-0.
But Aubameyang now believes he is ready to show his best qualities after becoming accustomed to life at Arsenal.
It was not easy at the beginning six months ago
"It was beneficial for me to arrive at Arsenal last January so I had six months to get used to the league, the country, the culture so I could be ready for my first full season," he told ESPN.
"It was not easy at the beginning six months ago.
"It was such a big change.
"It was hard to find the rhythm, especially physically.
"But this time, I am ready.
"I am really feeling good."
Arsenal face another season of uncertainty as Unai Emery attempts to stamp his own style on the north London outfit.
But Aubameyang is hoping to mark his first full season at the club with some silverware.
"Collectively, we want to play every competition to the maximum. We can't hide," he added.
"It would be great to end the season with one or more trophies.
"The league is obviously the priority because it has been a while since Arsenal won it.
"It will be complicated, though, and we know that.
"Personally, I want to contribute as much as possible with goals and assists.
"I don't have a figure in mind but I really [think] it will be a very good season like the ones I had in the past at Dortmund."
Arsenal face another tough test this weekend as they travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea.
