Hungarian Grand Prix weather update: Lewis Hamilton warned of THUNDER and RAIN
HUNGARIAN GRAND PRIX WEATHER UPDATE - The Met Office have issued a warning to Lewis Hamilton and Co. that there could be thundery showers at the Hungaroring.
Yesterday’s qualifying session was made that bit more interesting when the heavens opened midway through.
Storm clouds threatened at the beginning with drops of rain but it soon began pouring down, forcing teams to change their tactics.
Daniel Ricciardo fell foul of the bad weather as he his team didn’t react quickly enough to change his tyres, meaning he failed to get out of Q2.
But Hamilton was able to capitalise in the wet, despite Mercedes lacking pace all weekend.

Valtteri Bottas had provisional pole in the dying seconds of qualifying only for his team-mate to go fastest with a time of 1:35:658.
With the qualifying session hampered by rain, teams will be wary of a quick change in forecast for today’s race, which gets underway at 2:10pm.
And while it is expected to be mostly dry, there is a small chance of more thunderstorms hitting the Hungaroring.
The Met Office tweeted: “After wet conditions for qualifying yesterday, this afternoon's race is looking largely dry, sunny and hot but with the small risk of a thundery shower.”
Hamilton was able to take advantage of wet weather last weekend at the German Grand Prix as well.
Home favourite Sebastian Vettel was comfortably leading the race when the track was suddenly soaked by rain, opening the door for Hamilton to battle through the pack having started 14th.
And an error from Vettel towards the end of the race handed the Briton a thrilling victory to move him 17 points clear in the driver standings.
