Will Power was the surprise winner of the Indianapolis 500 after a flurry of late cautions.
The Team Penske driver came through from third on the grid to beat pole-sitter Ed Carpenter and former victor Scott Dixon in the 200-lap race.
Danica Patrick crashed in her final outing before retirement, while 2017 winner Takuma Sato was also involved in a shunt, smashing into the back of the slow-moving James Davison.
Power is set to pick up a prize pot in the region of $2.4million, with the rest of the $13m purse shared between the other 32 drivers.
