Formula E: When is the Marrakesh ePrix? Schedule, timings and more
THE MARRAKECH ePRIX will see ABB Formula E head to Morocco for the third race of the season after an action-packed and controversial start to the year.
Sam Bird finished second in the Marrakesh ePrix last season
The 2017/18 season got underway before Christmas in Hong Kong in dramatic fashion.
Having qualified second, Sam Bird of DS Virgin Racing took the first race of the weekend despite a drive-through penalty for a pit stop infraction, which saw him handed an additional 10-place grid penalty for the second race.
The first ePrix of the fourth season of Formula E also saw a red flag issued for the first time in the sport’s history after a first lap pile-up.
Felix Rosenqvist took pole for the second race and drove to what he thought was second, only to be upgraded to first after Daniel Abt was disqualified for a technical infringement.
Bird’s fifth-place finish was good enough to give him the championship lead heading into the New Year.

As with the TV channel, fans will be able to stream the race in a couple of different ways.
Sky Sports subscribers with Eurosport access on their TV used to be able to access the Discovery-owned channels via Sky Go.
However, that deal has expired and now viewers who want to watch the Marrakesh ePrix online will have to buy a Eurosport Player pass.

The two practice sessions will be streamed live and free through Formula E’s own channels.
