The entry list for the 24 Hours of Le Mans has been revealed, with 2009 world champion Jenson Button and potential Cadillac candidate Mick Schumacher among the 19 former F1 stars on the grid. Le Mans is the highlight of the World Endurance Championship calendar and makes up one-third of the Triple Crown of Motorsport, alongside the Indianapolis 500 and the Monaco Grand Prix. Held annually since 1923, it is the crown jewel of the endurance racing sphere.

The prestige of the event, range of classes, and the requirement for three drivers per car mean that far more racers are able to contest at Le Mans than in the Indy 500 or Monaco GP. In 2025, 19 former F1 stars are among the headline names competing for glory at the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe.

The former F1 drivers competing in the 2025 running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans are as follows...

Hypercar class

Antonio Giovinazzi, Mick Schumacher and Jenson Button are among the notable names attempting to deliver glory at the 2025 edition of the legendary endurance race. In total, 17 drivers in the Hypercar class have started at least one F1 Grand Prix.

  • Felipe Nasr (Porsche)
  • Pascal Wehrlein (Porsche)
  • Kamui Kobayashi (Toyota)
  • Sebastian Buemi (Toyota)
  • Brendon Hartley (Toyota)
