Eoin Morgan hails Jos Buttler and Jason Roy after England win 'learning curve' series
JOS BUTTLER starred with the fastest-ever century by an England player as Eoin Morgan's men wrapped up a 3-1 series win against Pakistan in Dubai.
A reverse ramp was just one of Buttler's array of shots
The wicketkeeper batsman, who made an unbeaten 116, took just 46 balls - the seventh fastest of all time - to reach three figures as England racked up 355-5.
Pakistan fell well short, bowled out for 271 as England cruised home by 84 runs.
Morgan saluted Buttler's incredible knock but also paid tribute to Jason Roy who posted his maiden ODI century for his country.
"Jos was outstanding but it was set up by a superb innings from Jason," he said.
"This whole series has been a huge learning curve for us but the best thing is that we have shared the performances around."
Jason Roy made a hundred and Joe Root 71 as England posted 355 off 50 overs
