England appoint Paul Downton as managing director
PAUL DOWNTON has been named as the new managing director of England.
Former wicketkeeper Downton, who played 30 Tests for England from 1981-88, succeeds Hugh Morris.
Geoff Miller is to step down as a chairman of selectors, with ex Leicestershire skipper James Whitaker taking his place.
