Carl Froch edges closer to retirement after losing WBA super-middleweight title
CARL FROCH may never fight again after being stripped of his WBA super-middleweight title, according to his promoter Eddie Hearn.
Carl Froch defeated George Groves in his last fight
Froch lost the crown due to a year-long inactivity caused in part by the collapse of a Las Vegas showdown with Julio Cesar Chavez Junior because of injury.
Froch had already vacated his IBF title.
“We have no problem with the decision” said Hearn. “There’s no guarantee he’ll fight again.”
