Amir Khan ready to rumble with Floyd Mayweather in ring
AMIR KHAN has laid down the gauntlet to fight Floyd Mayweather in a big showdown.
Mayweather outclassed Saul Alvarez at the weekend to secure the WBC and WBA light-middleweight titles.
He pocketed north of £26m for his efforts, which was a world record purchase.
Khan, who is a former two-time world champion however insists he wants to make a Mayweather clash happen.
"Floyd Snr wants his son to face me. Lets get it on. Iv never turned down any fight. Speed v speed," the Bolton-born fighter tweeted.
Khan however would have to face Devon Alexander and beat him before a clash against Mayweather, the No1 pound-for-pound prizefighter could be considered.
