Tonight’s boxing offers hardcore fans a real treat. Two world title fights, a British title fight and the return of Dillian Whyte. Starting with the latter, The Body Snatcher makes his first walk since being knocked out by Tyson Fury in April as he faces off against undefeated American Jermaine Franklin at Wembley Arena.
On the same bill, Fabio Wardley – managed by Whyte – takes on Fury’s cousin Nathan Gorman in a British heavyweight title clash. Then, 30 minutes down the road at the O2, Zach Parker squares off with John Ryder in a WBO super middleweight eliminator to establish the next mandatory challenger for the full title, currently held by undisputed champion Canelo Alvarez.
Before Jose Zepeda vs Regis Prograis headlines a stacked bill at the Dignity Health Sports Park in California. Zepeda attempts to defend his WBC junior-welterweight title for the first time with Yokasta Valle and Evelin Bermudez co-featuring in a women’s WBO and WBC junior flyweight unification contest.
