Tyson Fury's glove conspiracy has been slammed by former world champion Andre Berto, who says that theories the Gypsy King was supposedly at an advantage with flappy gloves 'doesn't make sense'. Fury beat Deontay Wilder via seventh-round TKO.
Fury dazzled in Las Vegas to become a two-time world champion by knocking Wilder out.
The Bronze Bomber's corner threw the towel in during the seventh round while Fury had Wilder backed into a corner.
But soon after, videos began to surface which showed Fury's gloves, from his first fight with Wilder, flapping as he attempted to hit his opponent.

Some fans alleged that Fury's fist was lower down the glove, protected by less padding, and therefore doing more damage to Wilder.
But Berto still doesn't see how any of that could be true.
“It doesn’t matter if he had his hand all the way in his glove, he took care of business that night,” he told FightHype.

“That would make me even more crazy because he wasn’t even punching me with his full fist.
"What is that going to do? It doesn’t make any sense."
Berto went on to state that it would be mentally difficult for Wilder to get back in the ring and perform against a 'confident' Fury.
“Not too many people can come back, especially a lot of really good fighters," he added.
"Once they get their confidence broken, it’s hard to come back to get in that ring and face that boogeyman again.
"It’s hard to get that confidence back.
"It’s going to be tough because Fury is going to come in a lot more confident.
"He’s going to fine-tune that same type of game plan."
Fury and Wilder are expected to fight again on July 18 but the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has halted all scheduled sporting events across the world for the time being.
