Boxing news: Anthony Joshua error, Hearn slams Fury vs Miller talk, Canelo vs GGG 3 twist
BOXING NEWS - Express Sport brings you the latest ongoings from the boxing world.
Anthony Joshua making Andy Ruiz Jr mistake
Anthony Joshua is making a big mistake by having an immediate rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr, according to Amir Khan.
"I don't think he should fight Ruiz straight away," said Khan. "If he fights him again, it will be very hard to overcome that.
“I thought it would be very good for Joshua to have one or two fights to rebuild himself and his confidence.
"Not that he needs it but while you have the opportunity to do that, you might as well.
“In boxing, people just want to see you in harder and harder fights. Had he won, people would want him in with Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury.
"He's so young as a heavyweight, this would give him a chance to improve on things and come back stronger.
"Then when it does come to be time for Wilder and Fury, he would be more than ready. Maybe defeat by Ruiz will be a blessing for him."

Tyson Fury vs Jarrell Miller talk slammed
Eddie Hearn has slammed the prospect of Jarrell Miller fighting Tyson Fury later this year, insisting the American should be serving a lengthy suspension for his trio of failed drug tests.
“I’ve said, I like Jarrell Miller, but if we don’t make an example of this, why do we even bother?” he asked iFL TV’s Kugan Cassius. “What’s the point in testing? Why don’t we just say, ‘Yeah, take what you want’.
“There are so many hypocrites in this sport, and in the past, I’ve had guys box on my shows that might be a year and a half or two years after [a failed test], and they’ve been fighting again.
“But in this case, it’s eight weeks since, and it’s still extremely raw and personal to me.
“On a serious note, what’s the point? Someone told me it was four tests including urine and blood.
“There’s no remorse, it’s not like, ‘Yeah, I tried to get an edge and these guys told me to do this and that’, it’s literally, ‘Oh yeah well I had this with my elbow and this other thing, I dunno how that got in there but don’t worry about that I’m fighting soon’.
“What the f**k? I don’t agree with it.”
Canelo Alvarez vs Gennady Golovkin III development
The eagerly-anticipated trilogy fight between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin is in major doubt, according to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated.
Golovkin is keen for his third showdown with the unified middleweight champion to take place in New York or Texas following two controversial decisions in Las Vegas.
Canelo, however, is refusing to play ball and has insisted he’ll only have a third bout with ‘GGG’ if they fight in Sin City again.
