Boxing news: Daniel Dubois suggests reason for Jarrell Miller drug use and calls out AJ
DANIEL DUBOIS has suggested a reason why Jarrell Miller may have taken banned substances ahead of his planned fight with Anthony Joshua.
Anthony Joshua: Jarrell Miller's drug test failure is 'karma'
Miller has been pulled from the June 1 clash with Joshua at New York’s Madison Square Garden after testing positive for three banned substances.
The American will miss out of the biggest payday of his career as Joshua rushes to get a new opponent on just six weeks’ notice.
Dubois, one of Britain’s brightest up-and-coming heavyweights, has nine knockouts from his 10 professional bouts.
And the 21-year-old has suggested that Miller was scared as a potential reason for cheating.
“To be honest there is not much you can say,” Dubois told IFL TV.
“He has been caught out and people are going to condemn him no matter what I say.
“He probably knows what he was doing and I don’t know if it was him being that scared or if it is just what he does usually.
“He has been caught out, a drug cheat - call him what you want.”

Dubois is currently in a training camp ahead of his showdown with Richard Lartey at Wembley Arena on Saturday night.
However, if a call came from Joshua’s team he would happily take the step up and challenge for the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO belts, despite the short notice.
“I never back away from any fight,” he added.
“It’s down to my team and Frank Warren and all of that.
“If that’s the right amount of time to prepare.
“The right sparring and the right teamwork. The whole camp would have to be perfect.
“Things would have to be in place but 100 per cent.
“I face every challenge.”
