Love Island 2018: Behind-the-scenes villa secrets REVEALED - you won't believe it
LOVE ISLAND 2018 final is just days away, but where have Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer been living? Where is the Love Island villa and Casa Amor?
Love Island preview: Islanders wake up to SIX new baby arrivals
Love Island fans have been flocking to buy merchandise associated with the show, but in behind-the-scenes photographs obtained by Express.co.uk, viewers can now see how much of the villa is actually a set.
The actual villa is not as big as it appears on TV, with much of the villa construction made for temporary use by a set construction company.
Supersets London are the team behind the construction.
The company, based in South East London, flew over to Mallorca to construct the set.
TV viewers would have previously seen their sets used on Strictly Come Dancing, Collateral, and Grantchester.
Love Island 2018 continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm
In pictures seen here, the Supersets team completely transformed the villa.
As the photos show, the carpenters build secret rooms and hidden camera runs that would go unnoticed on the show.
An Instagram post from April shows the team unloading a lorry full of timbers for the set.
The caption reads: “Island unload #mallorca #supersets #workholiday.”
Another snap shows the team dealing with the heat while putting the final touches to the scenery.
Fans of the 2018 series will likely be rushing to find out where the villa is in order to stay there themselves.
The show is filmed near the town of Sant Llorenc des Cardassar on the Spanish island of Majorca.
Google Maps show the Love Island villa and Casa Amor are just metres away from each other off a back road called the Ma-3323 in the shadow of the Levante hills.
Casa Amor is available to rent under its real name Villa Alchemy for roughly £600 per night.
For mega-fans who have been saving up for the ultimate merchandise, Casa Amor is available to purchase for £2.6million.
Tonight’s episode will see the islanders embrace parental instincts as babies arrive.
Each couple will name “their” baby, but Josh and Megan will struggle to adapt to parenting.
Baby joy brings Jack and Dani closer, before another couple is dumped from the villa.
Love Island 2018 continues tomorrow on ITV2 at 9pm.
