When is Outlander season 3 released?
Outlander season three is available to watch on Amazon Prime for free.
Outlander series four will be released on Amazon Prime in November 2018, 24 hours after it is released in the US.
Meanwhile, Channel 4’s More 4 is two years behind the original broadcast of Outlander, which was aired on US Network Starz and Amazon Prime in 2016.
You can watch all of series one on Channel 4’s streaming service All4 now.
Series two is updated weekly to coincide with when it airs on More4 every Thursday at 9pm.
Series three is unlikely to be released on UK TV until summer 2019.
The past two series have been released in June annually since 2017.
Series four will be released in the US and Amazon Prime in November 2018 and has been confirmed for a fifth and sixth season.

The third season is based on the third Outlander novel Voyager.
Outlander is based on a series of novels by Diana Gabaldon which follows the story of Claire Randall (played by Caitriona Balfe), a married nurse from World War II who travels back in time to Scotland in 1743 during the Jacobite risings and meets Highland warrior Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan).

What will happen in Outlander season 3?
Fans are hoping that Jamie and Claire will find a way back to each other in season three..
Season three picks up right after Claire traveled through the stones to her old life in 1948.
Claire is pregnant with Jamie’s child and is trying to adjust to life back in the present day with her husband Frank.
Jamie is in the 18th Century and trying to recover after the loss of Claire and his child.
He is also trying to regroup after the tragedy at The Battle of Culloden in which the British won.
Claire in the 1960s now has a grown-up daughter Brianna (Sophie Skelton), who discovered in season two that her father is in fact an 18th Century Scottish Highlander.
With the help of her daughter and Roger Wakefield (Richard Rankin), Claire tries to return back through the stones to find Jamie.
Who is in the cast of Outlander season 3?
Sam Heughan plays Highland warrior Jamie Fraser, a Scottish solider and landowner who participates in the Jacobite uprisings.
Caitriona Balfe plays Claire Randall, a nurse from World War II who time travels back to Scotland in 1793 during the times of the Jacobite Risings where she marries Jamie. In the 20th Century she is married to Frank Randall.
Tobias Menzies plays both Frank and Jonathan “Black Jack” Randall. Menzies is Claire’s husband and Black Jack is Frank’s ancestor who was Captain of the British redcoats in the 18th Century.
Graham McTavish and Gary Lewis play the MacKenzie brothers, Dougal and Colum respectively.
Other cast members include Duncan Lacroix as Murtagh Fraser, Andrew Gower as Charles Stuart and Rosie Day as Mary Hawkins.
