Drama series ‘Strike’ opens with dramatic scene
Thankfully, the BBC have confirmed the crime drama, which has proven to be a universal smash among viewers, will be returning as the titular Cormoran Strike (played by Tom Burke) and his sidekick Robin (Holliday Grainger) have at least one more adventure in them yet.
JK Rowling’s third Strike novel, 2015’s Career of Evil - written under the penance of Robert Galbraith -, has already been shot and is set to air in the new year.
Career of Evil is set to be another two-part mystery thriller and will see Strike face his most dangerous case yet as a serial killer targets the detective in a terrifying twist.
However, the BBC have confirmed they won’t be following in the steps of Game of Thrones, and will wait for Rowling to continue her literally series before resuming the televised adaption.

Speaking to press including Epxress.co.uk, executive producer Ruth Kenley-Letts revealed: “We’ll definitely wait until the next book comes out, and then we’ll start prepping again.”
“I literally have no idea what the next book is about,” she added.
Though, Rowling, 52, was on hand to share tips with team, hinting what scenes may pop up in later novels.
“It was very helpful to get Jo’s notes sometimes, because often she knows what’s going to happen, but nobody else does,” Kenley-Letts assured.

“Say for the part of [Strike’s ex-fiancé) Charlotte, which is quite a small part in the first book, she doesn’t really come to be.
“In terms of casting, you have to go, ‘Is this actress gonna come back or not, because I don’t know what I’m casting for.’ She might come back in a big way in book six – I don’t know.
“Jo was able to help and give us hints as to how to prepare for future books without having a clue what was going to happen.”
