The 50-year-old chef and his son Jack went out with Python hunter, Kyle Penniston, last Saturday where they tracked down three pythons before eating them.
Kyle is hired by the South Florida Water Management District to hunt the reptile as researchers believe they are behind the wiping out of native mammals in the wetland area.
Gordon made a deal with Kyle and his college, Jason Catarineau, that if they were taught how to catch the enormous snakes, he would teach the pair how to cook them.
True to their word, the snake hunters helped Jack, 17, grab his own python, before the group carried on into increasingly dangerous and swampy lands.

It was a blast hunting with the Ramsays, and they were very respectful of what we are doing here in the Everglade, fighting these invasive predators to save the ecosystem
The first snake was an astounding nine feet long and was killed instantly before it could do any damage.
After determining that the python was safe to eat, Gordon ground the meat and served it in lettuce cups.
In a statement, Kyle said: "It was a blast hunting with the Ramsays, and they were very respectful of what we are doing here in the Everglade, fighting these invasive predators to save the ecosystem."
He added to Today magazine: "It tasted amazing. Gordon is a great person and cook."
Kyle has killed 30 pythons in the South Florida region and the program has eliminated 317 snakes in total over the past four months.
Gordon Ramsey's The F Word airs on FOX in the US.
