The Chase: Anne Hegerty DEFEATS every contestant
The 59-year-old Chaser - better known as The Governess - picked off each of Bradley Walsh’s team tonight in the ITV show, which was a repeat episode.
She appeared triumphant after three of the four team members opted for the higher cash offer and a step closer to her and subsequently got wiped out.
“Knocking them down like flies,” she said beaming at her straight run of victories.
After all of the contestants were sent packing, Bradley, 57, turned to the camera and told viewers: “Well, there you go. My entire team is out but they have one last chance to salvage something from the wreckage of their game.”
However, the game took a major twist as The Chase allowed one contestant to be nominated by the other members and come back for the final round.
The team chose freelance journalist Matt from Newark to represent them with the chance of winning £1,000 each if they managed to beat Anne.

Even though the odds were against him, the 34-year-old contestant managed to set 18 questions right and put some distance between himself and the Chaser which seemed to pay off.
“That’s one of the highest solo scores we’ve ever had. That’s really impressive,” Anne told him shortly before she embarked on the last round of the game.
However, it looked like luck favoured the team and Anne struggled to answer the questions and was about five steps from home when she ran out of time on the clock.

There was much congratulations for Matt, who bagged a total of £4,000 for the team after an initially poor run from the team.
The win comes a day after quiz master Bradley was left fuming after getting snubbed by one player.
