STRICTLY COME DANCING has reportedly signed up another UK popstar as a contestant for the this year’s series.
Exclusive - First Dates - Alexandra Burke on First Dates
Having previously gained experience winning rival competition show The X Factor, Alexandra Burke has reportedly bagged herself a spot on the BBC Ballroom.
The 28-year-old has also had a starring role in the West End playing a lead in Sister Act, so has already been taught a few musical theatre steps.
“This seems the perfect way for her to do it,” a show source told The Sun. “She has heard a lot about how great the experience is and can't wait to get started. She is already working hard on her fitness."
Alexandra's spokesperson kept tight-lipped to the newspaper about her link to the show, but explained that the idea was “nice”.
