As Sally-Ann and Omer made it to the end with an impressive £30,000 in the bank, viewers watched in horror as the pair only managed to gain an 11 step lead over tonight's Chaser, Paul "The Sinnerman" Sinha.
However, the pair made a series of unfortunate blunders throughout the cash builder, one of which could not be ignored by fans of The Chase.
Host Bradley Walsh asked the team: "The island of Gran Canaria is part of what country?"
Sally-Ann confidently stepped up, hilariously answering "Canaries" much to the confusion of viewers.
